RetroFind Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 12, 2026
Last Updated: August 24, 2026
1. Introduction
RetroFind is an offline AR parking-route app that helps users record and retrace a private route between a parked vehicle and a recognizable endpoint.
This Privacy Policy explains how RetroFind handles information. RetroFind does not require an account, does not include advertising, and does not use analytics or tracking services.
2. Summary
RetroFind stores vehicle photos, endpoint photos, route points, and AR spatial-map information locally in the app’s container on the iPhone.
RetroFind does not use GPS and does not upload parking information to developer-operated servers.
3. Information RetroFind Does Not Collect
RetroFind does not collect through the app:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your contacts
- Your precise GPS location
- Advertising identifiers
- Usage analytics
- Tracking data
- Parking photos or route information on developer-operated servers
RetroFind does not use advertising networks, tracking SDKs, or third-party analytics SDKs.
4. Camera and Motion Data
RetroFind uses the rear camera and device motion sensors to record a local walking route, create visual references, build an AR spatial map, and display return markers.
Camera frames and motion data are processed for the app’s local AR functions. RetroFind does not send this information to the developer.
5. Local Parking Data
A completed parking record may include a vehicle photo, an endpoint photo, route points, and an archived AR spatial map.
This information remains in the app’s local container. The developer cannot remotely access, read, recover, restore, or delete it.
6. One Current Vehicle Record
RetroFind retains one completed vehicle record. Completing a new route replaces the previous completed record. Leaving before completing the endpoint does not replace the previous saved record.
7. Data Deletion
Open Settings and choose Clear Current Car Location to delete the current parking record. Deleting RetroFind also removes data stored in the app’s local container, subject to Apple’s operating-system behavior and device backups.
8. No Account Required
RetroFind does not require an account or login and does not store user profiles, passwords, or account identifiers.
9. App Purchase
RetroFind is sold through the App Store and has no in-app purchases, subscriptions, advertising, or paid upgrades inside the app. Apple handles billing, refunds, and purchase history.
10. Email Support
If you contact support, the developer may receive information you choose to include, such as your email address, device model, app version, screenshots, and issue description. This information is used only to respond to support requests.
11. Data Sharing
RetroFind does not sell, rent, trade, or share parking information with advertisers, analytics providers, or data brokers.
12. Children’s Privacy
RetroFind is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. The app has no account, advertising, analytics, or tracking services.
13. Security
RetroFind is designed to keep parking information local. No device or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Protect your iPhone with a passcode or biometric authentication.
14. International Use
RetroFind may be available in multiple countries or regions. Because the app does not operate a developer-controlled parking-data server, parking information remains in the app’s local container.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This policy may be updated if RetroFind changes how it handles information. The dates at the top show when the policy became effective and was last updated.
